The Staples Center & it's Existence

Damn, everytime I go to the Staples Center it seems like a better and better experience than before. I just love the whole scenery there with all the damn lights, musiq and people. By the way the add of the Nokia center was excitin' I must add. But anyways the times I go to the SC are for Lakers games and in occasion to Clipper games. I f**kin' hate the Clippers but support them cuz they are unfortunately an LA team lol...Back to the matter in hand, and that the SC has to be one of the best places in Downtown LA as well, sadly to say though. I swear I've been to atleast 10 other states in the US and damn our downtown is one of the worst. Everywhere else seems to have it clean and manageable. Our city leaders don't seem to care enough to do something about the whole downtown period but we will see soon if they even have the mula to do so. and I will be at the nokia center later on this yr for a concert or two.

Amoeba's great deals

Amoeba has to be by far the best place to collect and share and hear new musiq. I love the fact that they have free live concerts at times, and on top of that they rep underground stuff and thats a plus. I'm guilty to a point that one day I went to Amoeba and bought $280 worth of cd's. The cd's in this pic are some of them. One day I woke up and had this crave to buy cd's. No it didn't go like that actually, I've always wanted to buy the actual cd's of the artists I love so much. So why not hit up Amoeba and find some cheap azz cd's. Too bad most of the cd's I bought were regular price but I wouldn't of found them any where else so I had to cop them. One thing I do know is that I will never buy $280 worth of cd's again just for the fact that I could put all that mula into gas haha...

My PC & Cubicle...

This is the computer that i spend so much of my time on. I f**kin' luv it just for the fact that it doesn't give me any problems, well so far at least. I've always wanted to get a mac book but I have always lagged on it. I'm all about mac and apple but can't seem to get my ass off my seat to go buy one. I mean they can be a bit pricy but def. worth it. But until then this hp Vista will do. cuz all I need is my earphones/celly and my comp to survive in this world haha...

Views of Santa Monica College...

So you say why in the hell are you takin' pic's of Santa Monica College? Well I don't know the right reasons for it yet but I'm goin' to find out sooner or later haha...Actually I took these pic's cuz even thought I hate bein' there for the time bein' untill I transfer very, very soon, I luv what they did with the campus. All the damn palm trees undeniably make you feel that Cali vibe, which I love the most about. The vibe has to be one of the best out of all the c.colleges in Cali. It's definitely a picture friendly place and on top of that for some damn reason, attracts beautiful women from all over haha...luv that part of it the most.

Santa Monica Pier in the day n night.

This is what I see when I park my car each and everytime I go into work. Since I park on the last level of the structure, I get this beautiful view of the Santa Monica Pier. I love it but as soon as I go into work it all gones down the hill from there haha...But this is a nice pic of SM. Pier at night and the day time...I sometimes come early and just chill and take in this wonderful view of the ocean behind the peir and the pier itself. It's a damn tourist capital but other than that it's a nice place to chill and live...

My local Redbox...

So one day, long ago, I seen this goldmine at the nearest Albertsons and didn't think too much of it. Even though it said $1 for movies. Once I actually thought about givin' it a chance but ended up goin' to Blockbuster instead. Damn big mistake I see now. So one night me and a friend were rollin' in my car and I was like wait a min, lets check out this redbox by my house. So we did and the rest was history. I luv it so damn much it's crazy. You can get the latest movies as soon as they come out on dvd. I mean it's def good for movies you prob miss in theaters. By the way now they changed it to 9pm next day where you can return it, plus you can return your movies at any redbox station. I was sayin' this 2 one of my friends actually, that they should make a redbox store haha... $1 movies is the best and by the way you have to use your atm cuz of course it doesn't accept cash. luv it haha...

Joose

Joose is a drink I was introduced to by a couple close friends of mine. It is a alcoholic energy drink. It is very popular for it's high alcholic content of (9.0-9.9%). For it to be an acholic beverage is one thing but for it to be combined with an energy drink is another. Joose contains caffeine, taurine, ginseng, and certified colors. I don't encourage anyone to drink it if you don't know how your body will react to two strong things combined together. You can find Joose at your neighborhood liquor store. I forgot how much it actually costs but I think it's $2-3 dollars. I don't drink red bull or monster at all but for some apparent reason I tried Joose and didn't think it was that bad at all. Anyways I think this drink is very much interesting and wonder what else United Brands Company are going to come but with in the near future.

Drunk Driving!!!

I saw this in person last year by my job in Santa Monica. This is a real picture of a car that was in a real drunk driving accident. I was told by an officer on cite that the driver of this vehicle was driving on Ocean Park ave in santa monica,CA at night, coming from a friends house. The ironic thing is that a police officer was doing a random drunk driving check stop little before this happened. Anyways, the driver went to a friends house and of course he drunk his ass off and when a friend asked him if he wanted to drive him home, he said "no he's fine." He then went on speeding on Ocean ave. Going 80 mph on a 35mph road. He went out of control and crashed right into a tree. The tree spilt his Infiniti Fx35 into two and he died on the spot. I learned from all this not only to not drink and drive but to actually listen to your friends if they offer to give you a ride.

Nights in Rodanthe

I just seen one of the best love story movies in a long time. It is called: Nights in Rodanthe and it starts Richard Gere and Diane Lane. They both play a wonderful role in this movie and they come together very well. I enjoyed this movie all the way to the last parts of it. What I mean by that is, this movie didn't end like I thought it would but I found out that, that is what made if an even better movie. I advice anyone who loves a tipical love story but with a little twist to it, to watch this movie. By the way this movie didn't come out this year so don't kill me if your searching for it in the 2009 section haha. It came out in 2008 and slipped right by me. Again a wonderful flick and worth every penny.

New music from Raekwon of the Wu-tang Clan: New Wu

Today I came across a new video from one of the most unique members of the Wu-Tang Clan Raekwon the Chef. It's called New Wu and features other members of Wu-Tang: GHOSTFACE & METHOD MAN. Raekwon has a new album: Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II that is set to Release August 11, this year on EMI, Icewater Records, with the likes of producers such as: RZA,Dr.Dre,J Dilla and the list goes on. I think we can all say: how could hip-hop be dead when Wu-Tang is forever. I personally is looking forward to this album just because I've been listening to way to much alternative hip-hop from the 90's and want a new look at it, and what better than one of the best rappers from one of my ol' time favorite hip-hop groups Wu-Tang. I hope all of you guys go out and support Raekwon on his way back to the music seen since 2003 album: The Lex Diamond Story

Me and my homeboi Max on a late night in&out sighting

At about 11:35pm I was at Max's crib and damn we both were like lets hit up in&out! haha. So a late night dinner at one of the best burger joints is definitely the answer. F**k I love me some in&out once and a while. Especially the strawberry shakes. The best way to fully enjoy your in&out burger or any burger is to first take it apart then put as many fries as possible with a bit of ketchup, then a small and innocent burger out of no where becomes a humongous Los Angeles style burger.

Stacy Peralta the maker of Dog Town and the Z boys, brings us: Crips & Bloods: Made In America

http://www.cripsandbloodsmovie.com/

Stacy Peralta the director of Dogtown & Z Boys and Riding Giants once again brings us a wonderful documentary of Crips and Bloods. He not only show's us the everyday lives of gangbangers but the history of it all. What makes this even interesting is that the whole thing is narrated by award winner Forest Whitaker. Likes of basketball player, Baron Davis made this movie possible.
